Your one hour Acupuncture treatment with Dina will include:
- A complete assessment and traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis based on your chief complaint.
- Tuina, a Chinese medicine therapeutic massage, that is similar to lymphatic drainage and targets the areas in the body that are being treated.
- Cupping or Guasha. Cupping uses negative pressure (suction), opposite to massage, to help increase blood flow to specific areas of the body along energetic pathways in order to promote faster healing. Guasha is a gentle scraping technique used to release toxins from the body in the areas that are congested and causing pain.
- The second half of the hour you will be relaxing while the needles are inserted, typically involving an initial mild pricking sensation. For the rest of the 30 minutes you will rest while the needles gently work through your body systems in order to promote healing and wellness.

Typically you will come out of your treatment feeling rested and rejuvenated. Weekly appointments are generally recommended for the first month, then a reassessment is made depending on your bodies individualized response to treatment.

Appointments can be completed in-person only.
